Charitable Reuse Australia Conference – Brisbane 2026
The Charitable Reuse Australia Conference 2026 will take place on 12-13 October 2026 at Voco Brisbane. Voco Brisbane has an amazing ballroom seating over 180 cabaret style for the main conference plenary and an adjoining room to fit 100 shop managers for the ever-popular Shop Manager Break-in Sessions.
This year’s theme, Impact through Change, highlights the resilience, determination and leadership of a sector driving meaningful social and environmental outcomes through shifting market conditions.
The past few years have brought significant challenges, and with those challenges come opportunities through change. By embracing these shifts, the charitable reuse sector will adapt, strengthen and continue to grow.
The key question is what and how to change. The 2026 Conference will inform the strategic choices driving social and environmental impact into the future, grounded in our charitable mission and values, and leveraging innovation and collaboration in order for the entire sector to thrive.

In addition to the main conference plenary, we’re bringing back the Shop Manager Breakout Session for a third year, building on the value, inspiration and capacity building that these sessions provide. The two will run concurrently.
- Conference Plenary: All the future strategies around charitable retail, reuse and resource management packed into 2-days of inspiring, elevating thought-provoking strategies delivered by a highly curated group of the very best speakers and panelists. The Pre-Registration opens in March, so be sure to book all your leaders into the Conference Plenary at the best discount rates before they expire. The Conference tickets include access to ‘break-in’ to the Shop Manager sessions anytime.
- Shop Manager Break-In: A separate 1-day bespoke session offering specific, practical, operational and learning content for Shop Managers only, designed by members and delivered for members. Bring five, 10 or 20 of your shop managers for this Monday-only session. On Tuesday, they can all be back at their shops armed with new insights to drive sales and impact, and ready to maximise exposure on World Op Shop Day on Saturday October 18th.
- Conference Dinner: A fun-filled dinner on the Monday night for leaders and shop managers alike. This dinner is booked separately.
