Keynote Speaker Announced!
Keynote: The Rules Have Changed – Who Wins in the Circular Economy?
Andrew Ostcliffe, Chiefly Retail
Andy is arguably the world’s brightest and most insightful strategist on the future of charity retail, and how to succeed through change, disruption and market transformations. He is the co-creator of the world’s two largest online charity retailers, with a resume that includes Oxfam, British Heart Foundation and John Lewis. His expertise span’s everything re-fashion, re-sale, re-use, re-work, re-commerce and of course pre-loved.
He’ll inform, inspire and empower all the attending delegates at the Charitable Reuse Australia Conference 2026 with deep insights on what’s disrupting the European and US charity retail sectors, and what Australia can expect in the near to mid-term future. In his usual fun and engaging style, Andy will power-pack everything you cannot even imagine into 45 minutes from legislation, online retail, AI, exports, excess stock, take-back and post-back schemes, EPR and sustainability issues.
Delegates attending last year’s conference will remember Andy Ostcliffe’s brilliant closing presentation streamed live from the UK on the global state of charity retail.
This year, we’re doing one better and bringing Andy out as the keynote speaker to set the tone for the entire conference, around the 2026 theme of Impact through Change – because the challenges and the opportunities have exponentially accelerated since last year.
Andy’s keynote is aptly titled ‘The Rules Have Changed – Who Wins in the Circular Economy?’
The headline statement for the 2026 Conference is how the market for pre-loved fashion is changing, with even some mainstream retailers in Europe trialling pre-loved alongside new styles and seasons. So get a glimpse of the future of charity retail coming to Australia soon, by attending the Charitable Reuse Australia Conference 2026.
