June 2025 Journey: From Ideas to Impact

Newlife Care – Strengthening Communities Through Reuse and Compassionate Support
Newlife Care’s Op Shop prides itself on being a thriving social enterprise delivering meaningful community impact as well as reusing quality pre-loved items.
Proceeds from the shop help fund vital support programs, including free food hampers, essential household packs, and practical assistance for people facing hardship.
This year, Newlife Care is expanding its reach by employing a dedicated Social Worker and Link Worker to strengthen connections between health, community and social services, creating stronger pathways to support and wellbeing.
By reducing landfill, restoring dignity and supporting people doing it tough, Newlife Care is building a healthier, more inclusive and compassionate city.
